Erik Hamutenya

Born on 3 June 1976 in Kajaani, Finland.

BIOGRAPHY

He grew up in exile in
countries like Angola, Zambia and Congo Brazaville. Erik grew up listening
to Rock, Pop, Reggae and various African music genres, especially Kwassa
Kwassa and Zouk, from which today he draws his musical inspiration.

He learned to play the guitar in high school after listening to a lot of
Heavy Metal guitarists. Eric learned to play the bass guitar in 2002, to
fill the vacancy left by the previous Mighty Dreads bassist.

When not playing music, Erik likes to play football, do martial arts and
reading. He also likes traveling.

Erik is a seeker of spiritual enlightenment and his message to everyone is:
" Peace, Tolerance and Happiness".
